Tim Eirich has more than ten years of experience working with abused and neglected children, including several years at Boys Hope Girls Hope in New Orleans supervising the residential program for adolescent boys. Mr. Eirich’s diverse professional background also includes working with homeless youth in Arizona and teaching kids in Japan with the Ministry of Education.
Mr. Eirich earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Santa Clara University. An honors graduate of Loyola University Chicago School of Law, he was both a Civitas ChildLaw Fellow and a Philip H. Corboy Fellow (National Trial Team). After graduating from law school, Mr. Eirich became a trial attorney at the Colorado Public Defender’s Office in Adams County until 2006, when he began representing children in dependency and neglect cases at the Children’s Law Center.
An experienced litigator, Mr. Eirich has tried over 25 jury trials and argued legal issues affecting children and families in Colorado’s child protection system in the Colorado Court of Appeals. Mr. Eirich specializes in the rights of foster parents in the dependency and neglect process and has been a presenter at the 2009 and 2010 Colorado Foster Parent Association Annual Conventions. He is also an instructor for the National Institute for Trial Advocacy.
