Kerri Parker, Esq., Staff Attorney

Kerri Parker has practiced law for more than 13 years. She is passionate about addressing the needs of the disproportionately large number of minority children in Colorado’s foster care system. Recently, Ms. Parker has been working with staff in the Arapahoe County Human Services Department to encourage diversity in the foster parent system.

Ms. Parker earned a Bachelor of Science degree at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, and a Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Alabama School of Law. She began her legal career at a small litigation firm in Alabama representing employees alleging discrimination. After more than two years, Ms. Parker began her own general civil practice law firm. In 2008, Ms. Parker joined the Children’s Law Center as a staff attorney advocating for the rights of abused and neglected children in Colorado.
