Luisa Reinoso recently joined the Children’s Law Center as a legal secretary. In her home country of Ecuador she earned a Juris Doctorate degree in 1999 and worked on a World Bank Project to modernize the Courts of Justice, improve public service, and implement better practice at the administrative level. In 2002, Ms. Reinoso moved to the United Arab Emirates and worked as an Academic Services Coordinator. While there she studied through the Cambridge University to earn a Certificate for English Language Teaching to Adults. In 2009, Ms. Reinoso moved to Colorado and began working as English Language Arts Teacher at a Denver charter school.
Ms. Reinoso is fluent in English, Spanish and French. She is also an award-winning author, publishing two novels and a collection of short stories in Spanish. She won the 2001 Pablo Palacio Prize in Ecuador and was a finalist for a National Prize in Ecuador in 2006. Ms. Reinoso continues to write monthly articles regarding places of interest she has visited around the world for Revista Avance Magazine.
