Mary Beth Searles, Development Director

Ms. Searles has been working in nonprofit fundraising for the past 10 years, most recently as head of development at the Dumb Friends League, a Denver-based animal welfare organization. Prior to that, she led a $12-million capital campaign for Teton Valley Ranch Camp in Dubois, Wyoming. In 2009 she earned the distinction of Certified Fund Raising Executive, one of only 85 in Colorado.

She has a law degree from the University of Colorado and spent six years practicing with the firms of Perkins Coie, LLP, and Baker & Hostetler, LLP. She has a bachelor of science degree in journalism and economics from Northwestern University’s Medill School of Journalism.

Ms. Searles joined the Rocky Mountain Children’s Law Center as Development Director in October 2010.
