Lauren Dingboom, Staff Attorney

Lauren Dingboom first joined the Children’s Law Center in 2009, as a student attorney and social work intern. She earned a Bachelor of Arts from Pepperdine University, and went on to obtain a Masters of Social Work and a Juris Doctorate at the University of Denver in 2011.
Before returning to the Children’s Law Center as a staff attorney in 2011, Ms. Dingboom worked for three years with the Court Improvement Program at the Colorado State Court Administrator’s Office, where she participated in the development of meaningful collaboration between the judicial system and child welfare. During this time, she helped develop several multi-disciplinary curricula for the improvement of the child welfare system and launched Colorado’s first attorney training for Respondent Parent Counsel.
Additionally, she has worked as a legal assistant and clinical consultant for a guardian ad litem in Adams County. She previously interned with the Court Appointed Special Advocates in Adams and Broomfield Counties and Metro Volunteer Lawyers. Currently, Ms. Dingboom is a committee member of the Court Improvement Program, Dependency and Neglect Case Management Committee, and the Colorado Dependency and Neglect Judicial Institute Planning Committee.
