Rebecca Gonzalez, Clinical Consultant

Prior to joining the Children's Law Center in July 2011, Rebecca Gonzalez worked for the Denver Department of Human Services, first as a human service advocate working with parents and relatives on parenting skills, behavioral management and overall home structure. In 2007, she became a DDHS caseworker and focused on emancipating foster care youth and helping them transition into adulthood.

Prior to that, Ms. Gonzalez spent two years as part of an in-home services team for a therapeutic treatment facility. She also participated in the League of United Latin American Citizens (LULAC) and advocated for the needs of the Hispanic community.

Ms. Gonzalez is from Albuquerque, NM, and is a native speaker in English and Spanish.
