Christopher Henderson joins Children’s Law Center as a staff attorney. Mr. Henderson has been helping indigent and mentally ill youth since 1998. He spent the last six years as the lead drug court attorney for Children’s Law Center of Los Angeles where he worked with hundreds of clients to advocate their position to the court.
Mr. Henderson also served as a certified law clerk in the Juvenile Division of the Orange County District Attorney’s Office in Santa Ana, California. Prior to that position, he held a judicial externship with the Honorable James Zimmerman, the presiding district court juvenile judge in Golden, Colorado, where he wrote and researched the judge’s order for juvenile dependency and delinquency.
Mr. Henderson has a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Colorado State University, a Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology from the University of Denver, a a Juris Doctor from Whittier College of Law.
