NEW DEVELOPMENT DIRECTOR & BOARD MEMBERS BRING A FRESH OUTLOOK TO CHILDREN’S NONPROFIT

(Denver, CO) On Monday, September 14, 2009, the Rocky Mountain Children’s Law Center named Gigi Stewart Director of Development and Communications. Gigi Stewart is the former Director of Business Development for the Women’sVision Foundation.

Additionally, the Rocky Mountain Children’s Law Center added Lynn A. Andrews, Physician M.D., Cherry Creek Pediatrics; Carla Dore, President, Workplace Resources; Stan McGinnis, Chairman & CEO,Secure Signals, Inc.; and Ali K. Yousaf, Marketing Director, Managing Partner, Capital Investment Management Company (CIMCO) to the Rocky Mountain Children’s Law Center Board of Directors.

Shari F. Shink, Founder and Executive Director of the Rocky Mountain Children’s Law Center said “our new Director of Development and four new board members were selected because they each have exciting ideas to help meet the increased demand for the critical legal services we provide for children in crisis.”

The Rocky Mountain Children’s Law Center was founded in 1981. Its mission is to protect and save the lives of abused and neglected children through zealous legal advocacy, innovative programs and public policy reform. Each year, the Children’s Law Center represents more than 600 maltreated children and trains private attorneys who donate nearly one million dollars in volunteer legal services to at-risk families, child victims of domestic violence, and foster parents.
